Heartwood Butterflies

We’re delighted to offer the trilogy of beautiful full-colour wildlife books produced by the Heartwood Monitoring Group.

The second book in the series is Heartwood Butterflies, by Brian Legg, Andrew Steele, Jim Paterson and Steve Parkes. This is a wonderful guidebook to 30 species of butterfly found at Heartwood Forest and throughout Hertfordshire. For each species, there are lots of photographs and information about identification, lifecycle, frequency and distribution.

The book is a high-quality trade paperback, 46 pages, published in 2020.
